Electric construction of modules is based on modern converters, which integrate in one case the analogue and the digital part needed for measuring of work and watt power in one phase. There is used one or three these converters in accordance to the module type.
The voltage inputs of the module are adapted directly for voltage system 3x400V AC. The voltage terminals of the module are equipped with over voltage protection by varistors. Current inputs of the module are adapted for instrument current transformers with secondary winding current 1A.
The used converters provide conversion accuracy better than 0,1 % in dynamic range 500 : 1 and they are optimized for the frequency range 50 to 60 Hz. The input circuits of the analog-to-digital converters and the internal referential power supply with the temperature coefficient 30 ppm/°C are sole analogue circuits of the used converter. All other functions (constants selection, multiplication, filtering...) are provided digitally. That way excellent time stability and accuracy in wide range of working conditions are supported. All converter inputs are protected by inside electrostatic discharge protection.

Each module contains a microcomputer, which processes the data from the converters and ensures communication with a superior system (a PC, an industrial computer, an automatic machine, etc.). The communication runs with the speed up to 9 600 Bd by serial line RS 485 with galvanic separation from the measured system.
SW that operates under MS Windows 95/98, NT, 2000, XP enables visualisation of the measured values.
Power supply of the divided part of the module is ensured by feed source with output voltage 12 V DC, which can be used for all modules operated by measuring system.
The feed source is not a part of the delivery of the module.
